Crafted with Sustainably Harvested American Black Walnut and made in our factory in Ohio, Gerstner's small cutting boards are 12x9 inches and 3/4" thick for stability, with light brown to deep chocolate colored walnut wood and finger grooves for easy lifting and usable on both sides.

Edge Grain cutting boards are designed for heavier cutting and chopping, while minimizing knife marks in the wood, and keeping your knife sharper than using plastic, bamboo or glass cutting boards. The small size makes it perfect bread & cheese and the optional juice groove keeps juices from meat, fruits and veggies from spilling onto countertops or tables.

Due to the natural variations in walnut wood, the edge grain cutting boards will vary from what is shown in these images. Some boards will be more consistent in color, while others will have high contrast between lighter and darker wood.
